About SYV Directory

The SYV Directory was conceived by local marketing consultant and publicist, Kady Fleckenstein of Kadydid Consulting based in the Santa Ynez Valley, California. She wanted to help businesses survive the first pandemic stay-at-home order in early 2020. She started by listing all of the businesses, restaurants and wineries offering curbside pickup or delivery and highlighting specials and online events. Her efforts paid off as over 6,000 unique visitors looked at the guide in just the first month alone. Fortunately businesses were able to open again so the list went dormant.

 

With a second stay-at-home order beginning in December 2020, businesses are faced with losing out on the very few weeks that keep their businesses thriving, year after year. In the hopes of making the SYV Directory a permanent way to support local businesses and provide information for local residents, Kady and her extraordinary friend, Jillian Knight, are asking for your support. Send us your business's information and, as a resident of the Santa Ynez Valley, please do everything you can to support these businesses or donate to local blessing boxes around town.
